For someone who is hiding their identity online, Mitsuru wasn't cautious enough to notice her phone and strap were in the videos. It sucks how the people online decided to find out who she really was when she's clearly trying to hide her identity and inconveniencing a business for their own fun.

It was amusing how every time Itsuka spoke to Nagomu he was visibly happy since she wouldn't look him in the eye before.

Internet is a really scary place, and it's only getting harder to hide things lol.

A long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away) I used to watch a TON of YouTube creators, and I was a big fan of this one young lady who put out some great content. She always went by her online persona and was very careful about anything that might be too identifiable. The community was overall very calm and respectful (at least as much as a bunch of weebs ever are). Then one day one of her real life friends accidentally used her real name on a live stream. Instantly the whole community shifted. They dug up every scrap of information about her real identity and where she lived, they stopped calling her by her online persona and all just started using her real name all the time, even though she was clearly uncomfortable with it. People started critiquing the friends she kept and commenting on the things she did offline and just generally overstepping into her personal life in any way they could. I got into a bunch of arguments back then trying to assert that we were her fans, not her friends. Her real name was not for us to use, and her personal details were not for us to know. Of course, that all fell on deaf ears.

I still enjoyed the content she put out, but I couldn't stand to be part of that community anymore, and walked away.

Hearing stuff like that makes me feel bad, and then the fans don't face any kind of repercussions for stepping out of bounds, it sucks.
